Like all holidays and celebrations, Easter carries the weight of expectations. You will have memories of holidays from the past, and you might feel the pressure to live up to old traditions. Don't give in to the burden of comparisons. It's more important that you're relaxed enough to enjoy everything.


Tips To Reduce Stress

1) Look for ways to laugh, as research from the Mayo Clinic shows how laughter increases the rate of neuropeptides released that help fight stress, and potentially more serious illnesses.

2) The cat pictures for Easter include chocolate, because that has become the most popular part of the holiday. Chocolate has also been shown to relieve stress, as scientists for the Nestle Research Centre found. Dark chocolate enjoyed on a daily basis can help to balance the body chemistry of people who are stressed.

3) Get plenty of sleep. Reach a level of deep relaxation by experiencing the Z Point Process as you lay in bed, and your stress will fade away.

The more often you feel that relaxed, the sooner you will reach the state of complete peace. You will be able to drift off to sleep after counting down from 10 to 0, repeating your cue word in-between.

Do You Believe In Miracles?

Many call the resurrection of Jesus a miracle. I think when inspirational stories are called miracles, it puts them out of bounds, and distances them from "ordinary" people. I prefer to look on them as hope and possibilities that are available for everyone.

Once your mind is open to believing that anything is possible - then that creates a life full of excitement and discovery. I wish you a life that you create anew every day.

You might think, "But of course I want to lose weight, why on earth would I choose not to?". If you are not losing weight steadily every week - then you have chosen not to.

Everything is a choice - from deciding what you will eat for breakfast, to whether you will take healthy snacks out with you, or dive into the nearest fast food place instead.

Making the right choices for the right outcomes takes planning. Just using weight loss as an example, if you wander into a supermarket without a shopping list, and allow yourself to be tempted by the fresh smells in the bakery, or the offers on chocolate that are placed within easy reach ... then you are never going to lose weight.

If you really do want to lose weight, then you would make better choices. You would shop online so that the scents and sights don't distract you. You stick to your list, and return to it for each following shopping session, so it becomes faster and easier each time.

Once you have added everything you need for a healthy, balanced diet, then you can look for offers, and stock up on the basics that you always need. This means you will always have food in the cupboard that supports your new choice to lose weight.

Now you have done the planning, and taken responsibility for what is in your cupboards, your fridge, and your freezer - you will lose weight. If you say you 'had' to have biscuits - ask yourself how they got into your house? Eliminate all temptation and all excuses, and get into your new healthy habits.

Are you choosing what you really want, or are you choosing to stay exactly as you are now? Know that you make that choice every minute of every day. If you don't really want to lose weight because it takes long term commitment - then save your energy for what you really do want.

Everyone needs help and support to make changes - and that is always available. When you choose the right help for you, and make that first step forward, then you know you're ready. You create your reality every day. No matter what has happened in the past, you choose how you live with those events. Either you make peace with them, or you allow them to ruin your present. The choice is always yours.

The day you decide to stop being a victim, and take responsibility for your life, is the day you have control over your own happiness. All the time you spend blaming others is time lost and wasted, and it could mean you miss opportunities to help you change. 

The power of choice applies to everything, and it's always possible to change how you feel. Test this for yourself:

  1. Bring to mind a memory of when someone hurt you very deeply. Create the exact picture of everything around you as you experienced the pain (physical or emotional).
  2. Remember a time when you were completely happy. It might be when you won a prize, or achieved a hard won goal. You felt safe, loved, and confident.

Compare the difference between those two memories. You will feel sad thinking about how badly you were treated, and it will drag your mood down. As soon as you focus on a time where everything felt good, and you knew you were loved and successful, you will lift your spirits again.

If you feel stuck, it's not easy to learn new habits, but Z Point can release limiting beliefs, and guide you towards making the right choices for a successful future. Life is too short to allow the past to hold you back. It's possible to liberate yourself by choosing happiness over sadness. Every second of every day you have the power of choice - make it the right one.

It's unlikely if you're an adult that you still believe in Father Christmas. If you had a brother like mine, who fastened a piece of string across his bedroom door to trip my father up as he groped in the dark to leave the presents, you will have discovered the truth sooner than you'd wanted.

However you learnt that Father Christmas didn't really exist, you also learnt a big lesson - that something you firmly believed in wasn't the truth. Many forget that early lesson, and believe that how they are is how they're always meant to be, and it's impossible to change their nature.

The most exciting thing about life is that everyone can change - and as often as they wish. A belief is only useful as long as it supports you. If it keeps you locked in the past, then it's preventing you from being the best you can be.

Beliefs are absorbed without any filter up to the age of 6, so you can have many limiting beliefs stored in your subconscious which are deciding the direction you take. You can often be unaware of the reason why you're not achieving your goals, because these beliefs will be long forgotten.
