Everyone is used to slow breathing exercises to calm the body down, but this technique is perfect to refresh your energy instantly. (Audio opens in a new window.) The cat perfectly illustrates how to allow your tongue to hang out to its fullest extent, but without any force. (I suggest you perform this on your own, and preferably avoid mirrors too!)

This stress buster is an excellent way to let everything out before starting a Z Point session. It encourages you to recall all the emotions associated with your issue, and enables you to focus clearly.

You can work your way through a deep fear with this breathing technique. Breathe in very slowly, for approximately the count of 4, hold for the count of 4, then blow the breath out in short, gentle puffs for approximately the count of 5, ending with a longer breath to completely empty the lungs.
