Sometimes those around us keep us fixed to fit their perceptions. Parts of our characters get ignored as we're brought up to conform, until we lose who we really are.

Suppressing our full and complex personalities leads to varying levels of dissatisfaction. Trying to please others will always be a losing game. It means we're never fully relaxed, because we're alert to their opinions, and we react to perform as they expect.

Make time for yourself, and be completely silent, then wait for thoughts to come to you. You might remember a sport you used to love playing, but now you haven't got time because you're too busy doing overtime at work.

Or you might remember how you always wanted to learn Mandarin, after you learnt it was spoken by more people than any other language. Not making time to do things which would give you pleasure wears the true essence of you away.

If you look around and take stock of all the 'things' that you take for granted in your life - TVs, DVD players, mobile phones, etc etc ... that you absolutely can't live without ... then you're attempting to fill the gaps created by submerging your real desires. What's the point of stressing yourself working to buy objects which will be outdated before they're paid for?

The Z Point Process clears away the trees so you can see the wood. It's so simple, and it doesn't take hours searching for a root cause for dissatisfaction or unhappiness. Everything associated with a general feeling is cleared in minutes, and you're relieved of stress that you maybe haven't acknowledged, leaving you feeling calm, and deeply peaceful.

Once you reach complete relaxation, you can get back in touch with all you ever wanted to be and do, and plan to break out of conformity, and rediscover what really makes you happy. You might find being a ukulele playing, tap dancing juggler surpasses all expectations!

Along with love, fear is the other emotion that is the root of every feeling we experience. (See post on unconditional love.) Fear is responsible for keeping us stuck, and it prevents us from trying something new.

When you think of what you'd love to do, and there is always a 'but' following that thought, making an excuse, then you have memories coming up with a reason why it wouldn't be safe for you.

Even if we're not conscious of old memories, they decide what we do every day, because they provide 90% of our thoughts. Only 10% of thoughts are conscious, so unless we've cleared the subconscious of whatever stops us from taking action, we're not free to make the most of every opportunity that life holds for us.
