Valentine's Day is often a time to regret and mourn not having the supportive love you dream of. No matter if you've found your soul mate or not, make this the day you celebrate yourself.
Once you learn to really love yourself, you don't accept abusive behaviour, because you know you deserve better. Having self esteem attracts those who treat you with respect, and you will love how wonderful that feels. Starting from this essential foundation you will have the life we are all supposed to be living. Loving yourself really will change your life. It's not selfish - it's essential for happiness. It isn't possible to love others until you love yourself first. Have a wonderful year sharing unconditional love! I had a wonderful time sharing how Z Point can relieve mothers of stress with Deb of Zen Mommies on BlogTalkRadio. Deb does a wonderful job of introducing holistic ways to make moms' lives easier and happier. Once you clear your own stress, the whole family will feel calmer too, so your home will become much more harmonious. What more can you ask for than peace, calm and love?! You can learn how to cope with all the challenges life throws at you with the Zen Mommies Stress Relief Special - all for $37. If you're looking for a gift to send to your Valentine, these eBooks are full of beautiful original photographs plus romantic quotes, to suit the man or lady in your life."As soon go kindle fire with snow, as seek to quench the fire of love with words." - William Shakespeare "Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible - it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could." - Barbara de Angelis
In order to achieve all you want, you have to pace yourself. You can't keep going full steam ahead because you will wear yourself out, and then you won't be able to do anything well. When you're tired it's easier to become overwhelmed, so not only do you do less, you don't enjoy what you're doing - and we're here to love every day, not just survive it.
Most successful people fit in relaxation as a regular part of their day. Relaxing isn't something you do occasionally like a spa treat, it's vital to your optimum health.
After you've experienced deep and complete relaxation, you will know how incredible it feels to be free of all your worries. The complete peace and clarity makes room for the direction you should take to come to you.
Once you know you can relax and allow your life to unfold, without chasing the next big thing, or the next shiny object, it makes everything very simple. When you know how important relaxation is to your health, your work, your whole peace of mind, you too will want to incorporate it into your daily routine. Choose the same time of day to practice your chosen technique, and it will become an ingrained habit.Read John Assaraf's suggestions to make meditation work for you. To reach the same level of deep relaxation that meditation brings, without practice or effort, try Z Point. No matter where you find yourself over the holidays, make sure you get plenty of rest. Closing your eyes just for a few minutes helps to restore your energy levels.
Even though previous Prime Ministers such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher managed to run the country on very little sleep, they'd both perfected the art of snatching catnaps in-between meetings.
Holidays are as emotionally draining as they can be physically. Make sure you look after yourself, and tell yourself Christmas is only for one day!
I hope everyone has a wonderful time, and you receive everything you wish for. I'd like to thank you all for supporting my new site. I've loved 'meeting' you all, and I look forward to more sharing in 2011. Make the most of the holidays, and enjoy the break from work. With lots of catnaps you may even return with more energy and enthusiasm!ZPoint can help heal relationships, pour oil over troubled waters, and restore peace. I love seeing how ZPoint makes such a difference, and I will enjoy helping lots more of you all through the New Year. Here is a free ZPoint Process session (for a limited time), for you to experience what it feels like to relax deeply, and find peace."There is more refreshment and stimulation in a nap, even of the briefest, than in all the alcohol ever distilled." - Edward Lucas"A day without a nap is like a cupcake without frosting." - Terri Guillemets
Stress has forced one in five workers to call in sick, yet the vast majority of these (93 %) say they have lied to their boss about the real reason for not turning up, using excuses such as stomach upsets, housing problems and the illness of a loved one. (Source: MIND, UK Mental Health Charity.) It's sad when we can't be honest about having an emotional problem for fear of being judged. It's much harder for men to share how they really feel, because they're mostly brought up to be strong and inhibited. Stress affects everyone in different ways, and while it's a normal part of everyday life, if it causes you to lose balance then it needs to be addressed. Stress is natural when it makes you feel a nervous excitement when you try something new. If the thought of something new paralyses you, and makes you feel physically sick, then you need help.Without minimising how stress makes you feel, it's often the case that holding it inside can build it up out of proportion. Share your feelings with someone you trust. If you prefer to remain private there are lots of therapies which can help.
Look around, research them, and choose one that suits you. Obviously I recommend ZPoint because I've seen how it lifts stress so easily, no matter how serious the issue is. It's such a liberating feeling as you lose all emotional attachments without any pain, angst or effort. You're able to view the situation from a distance and know it no longer has any hold over you. Regaining control after being too stressed to think straight is amazing. I think if you're stressed the last thing you need is a complicated modality which raises your stress levels even more. The simplicity of ZPoint with such a peaceful, deeply relaxed result makes it well worth a try. After clearing all the underlying reasons for stress (including all the subconscious ones you aren't aware of), you'll feel bright and alert again, and ready to face the world (and your boss!). Contact me with any questions you might have, I'm happy to help. If you're a boss who's concerned about the welfare of your staff, please get in touch. Any suggestions of ways that de-stress you are welcome. I love books, and always read before sleeping to switch my mind off. I've just looked into how great the Kindle is, (even Oprah Winfrey is a fan!) and found lots of information. I didn't know how much easier it is to read than from a computer screen, apparently it's just like real paper, so I can't wait to check one out. "If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it." - George Burns.
Everyone is used to slow breathing exercises to calm the body down, but this technique is perfect to refresh your energy instantly. (Audio opens in a new window.) The cat perfectly illustrates how to allow your tongue to hang out to its fullest extent, but without any force. (I suggest you perform this on your own, and preferably avoid mirrors too!) This stress buster is an excellent way to let everything out before starting a Z Point session. It encourages you to recall all the emotions associated with your issue, and enables you to focus clearly.
You can work your way through a deep fear with this breathing technique. Breathe in very slowly, for approximately the count of 4, hold for the count of 4, then blow the breath out in short, gentle puffs for approximately the count of 5, ending with a longer breath to completely empty the lungs.
Z Point can remove a fear completely, and leave you feeling as completely relaxed as this cat. Sign up on the right for the free eBook to learn more about this peaceful, simple process.
"Who will tell whether one happy moment of love, or the joy of breathing, or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies." - Erich Fromm
Observing the actions of a cat will benefit your health enormously. They stretch themselves to their fullest extent regularly throughout the day.
When we become absorbed in our work, we can remain in one position for too long, and then we wonder where that stiff neck came from ... It's worth making a habit of stretching. You could set off a timer every hour to remind you to stop whatever you're doing.
Even whilst sitting at work you can stretch your neck without attracting too much attention. Breathe in before you bend your head, and release your breath as you reach for each shoulder in turn. This uses the Feldenkrais method to get in touch with your body, and achieves the most benefit with the least effort.
Maybe you can't achieve all the contortions of a cat, but standing on tiptoes, and reaching up as high as you can will invigorate you. Reach first with one arm, then the other, and you will feel the kinks release from your body.
Stretching before you get out of bed will ease out the knots of sleep, and you will have fewer aches to start the day with.
Z Point is a great way to stretch your mind, and allow it to release something you're stuck on. I've seen when the underlying issue has drifted away with Z Point, the extreme pain caused by tension has also been relieved.
Get in tune with both your body and your mind, and reach for your fullest potential.
"What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds." - Wayne Dyer
Having a playful outlook on life is the best way to make the most of every experience that comes your way.
Start with a smile - it's always welcoming, and acts as lubrication to smooth over new introductions, or tricky situations.
Always keep a look out for anything funny that happens - laughter is excellent exercise! Studies have shown that children under the age of five laugh up to 300 times a day, but adults laugh only 15 times a day - now, that is very sad!
An early report by Paskind et al revealed that post-laughter relaxation can last up to 45 minutes. One of the best additional benefits that I love with Z Point is the release of laughter, and sometimes uncontrollable giggling can erupt! There isn't a better way for me to lose the stress of a problem, have fun, then feel wonderfully relaxed afterwards.
Even if you don't feel like rolling in the grass, get in touch with nature as often as possible. Researchers at Anglia Ruskin University in England believe that ecotherapy can benefit your health.
Walk on grass, earth and sand with bare feet to benefit the most. Being out in the open air is essential to feeling as good as possible. Vitamin D from the sun is one of the best protections against diseases such as cancer and arthritis, and we are now being told to use less sun block to allow it to work as nature intended.
Find some leaves to kick, feel the wind blow through your hair, laugh like a child, and have fun today!
"The goal of life is living in agreement with nature." - Zeno (335 BC - 264 BC)
Cats often yawn throughout the day, as they then settle themselves into yet another comfortable position.
If we did the same, we would be letting go of the tensions we pick up unconsciously. Have you ever woken up in a really good mood, thrilled because the sun is shining, and you're excited to be starting a new project?
Then the first person you smile 'hello' to responds with a grunt, the second ignores you, the third dumps all their problems on you ... Now how do you feel?
Even those we love can be tiring, so we need to be able to re-charge our batteries easily and quickly, then we can brush off the negativity of others, and be supportive and loving again.
The deep releasing felt during the Z Point Process is often experienced as yawning. It feels wonderful that without any effort, all the niggles and annoyances you've collected leave by themselves.
You feel light, unburdened, deeply relaxed - and very happy! The more you experience this sensation of freedom from everything which gets in the way of your happiness, the more you know - this is what really matters - so yawn and release today!
"That's my gift. I let that negativity roll off me like water off a duck's back. If it's not positive, I didn't hear it. If you can overcome that, fights are easy." - George Foreman
Are you hiding away like a scaredy cat? Sometimes stress can creep up on us unawares, and we keep juggling each new challenge until one day the load has built up into overwhelm. When life is too difficult to cope with, it's often easier to withdraw, and become unwilling to face up to everything.
Z Point can clear these feelings, removing the root causes of stress and anxiety, and putting you back in control. Lifting the weight of worries off your shoulders feels amazing, and once you are free to think clearly, you can deal with one thing at a time, and start to move forward again.
The Z Point Process is long lasting, so once everything has been cleared it remains cleared. Life will always keep throwing rocks in your path, so finding a way to, not only cope, but feel empowered by your ability to manage each thing calmly is the ultimate foundation for peace of mind.
Not many of us are as saintly as Mother Teresa was, and she still endured many hardships each and every day. This puts life into perspective.
We know there is no happiness to be found from hiding away - so come out and roar! Live life boldly - it's too good to miss out on!
"God doesn't require us to succeed; he only requires that you try." - Mother Teresa
