This is where you become stiff when you sit in one position, such as on the computer, and your muscles become tight. Unless you relieve them regularly, you will find yourself suffering from increasing amounts of pain. Paying attention to your breathing benefits your whole body, and learning how to control your breath as you perform a stretch greatly increases the results.

Research Proves Breathing Exercises Improve Your Health
A heart attack is caused by an acute circulation blockage depriving the heart of oxygen. When this happens in the brain it results in a stroke. Oxygen is more vital to your body than food or water, but not enough attention is paid to how it's possible to increase oxygen levels.
In 1931, Dr Otto Heinrich Warburg won his first Nobel Prize for proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in cells. He was nominated an unprecedented three times for the Nobel prize for three separate achievements. He stated in an article titled: "The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer" that: "the cause of cancer is no longer a mystery, we know it occurs whenever any cell is denied 60% of its oxygen requirements."
(I can remember my mother having panic attacks, and not being able to breathe, and she died of cancer.)
Your breathing and stress are tied together, because you cause panic and stress by gasping for air, and also when you feel stressed you don't breathe slowly and deeply. So, learning how to breathe using your diaphragm will reduce symptoms of stress. (Watch the Diaphragmatic Breathing video below.)
The more often you experience the ZPoint Process, the more you become in tune with your body, and you know that feeling relaxed is how you want to always be. Breathing exercises are the perfect way to maintain the sense of peace and calm between sessions.

"Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts." - Thich Nhat Hanh
"You know that our breathing is the inhaling and exhaling of air. The organ that serves for this is the lungs that lie round the heart, so that the air passing through them thereby envelops the heart. Thus breathing is a natural way to the heart. And so, having collected your mind within you, lead it into the channel of breathing through which air reaches the heart and, together with this inhaled air, force your mind to descend into the heart and to remain there." - Nicephorus the Solitary
