The singer, Jessie J, had her beautiful hair shaved off as you can see here.

Comic Relief supports so many victims of their unfortunate circumstances, and the millions raised changes their lives. We live in a society that is spoiled with so much that is extraneous to living healthily. Children make their parents feel guilty if they don't have the latest games player, with every available game.
They moan about going to school, and some refuse to go, and find trouble instead. Children in Africa don't have the luxury of time to get into trouble. We've seen many examples where the children walk miles to get to the nearest school, and others who have to work instead, to look after their families. They don't know what it is to have toys and technology - they're dying because they don't have the basics of food and clean water.
The next time you wish you had something new, stop for a second and think if you're safe, with enough to eat and drink, then you have a lot to be grateful for. You have more than the millions living in poverty, who only want the opportunity to better themselves.
If you have the chance to help someone who wants to help themselves - find a way, and make kindness to others a habit. You will find that appreciating what you have will also make you happier, because focusing on what you do have will bring you more of the same . . . and you will be able to share more.
