I see a lot of quotes where the author has good intentions, but they add something which detracts from the meaning. This is one example:
"Forgetting is the best revenge."
Letting go of the past is the only way to free yourself to move forward, but any form of revenge guarantees you are holding anger close to you.
Letting go doesn't mean you forget about your issue for five minutes, then you refresh it every time you think about getting revenge.
Letting go means releasing everything around your issue, so that no emotional attachment remains.
This is how the ZPoint Process works - while you relax, your subconscious collects your memory peacefully, and within minutes you can think about it, and it will feel distant from you, and you know it can't affect you again.
When the issue has completely gone you have no thoughts of revenge, or any traces of anger - instead you feel light and very happy because it can't return to hurt you.
This is how you have to address the blocks in your subconscious that are preventing you from manifesting. You can't pretend they don't exist, or forget they happened - the Universe is connected to your truth, and only what you feel honestly puts you in the direct flow to receive.
If you want to manifest, you have to feel happiness and joy when you make your intention to be in the flow. You can't be a match to attract your desire if you can feel limiting beliefs are in the way.
Watch the words you see, and if you agree with those such as the quote above, know you have work to do. The words you accept into your thoughts affect your vibrations, so becoming aware is the first step to knowing what you need to release.
Consider what you have to let go of before you ask the Universe for more. You will save a lot of time and frustration when you have a smooth path to receive, without any blocks in the way.
“Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand – relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.” ~ Osho
“Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don't.” ~ Steve Maraboli
