I loved growing up in the 70s listening to Motown music, which could explain why I'll always be a romantic and love love! Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross were my favorites, and my first boyfriend showed how much he loved me when he took me to see Mahogany, when Bruce Lee action movies were more his thing.
Marvin and Diana express so much emotion, and these words still apply to us all today:
Though you try, you can't hide
All the things you really feel
This time decide
That you will open up, let it in
There's no shame in sharin' love you feel within
So jump right in
Head over heels and fall right in
It's never too late, too late to
Stop, look, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Stop, look, oh, listen to your heart
Hear what it's sayin'
Love, love, love
You can't hide from what you feel inside, and until you acknowledge your feelings you won't be able to discover what truly fulfills you, and makes your heart sing and come alive.
Make time to stop, and listen to your heart. It's most likely saying something like:
"Forget the past. Let it go, and allow your future to be filled with unlimited possibilities."
If you don't have a life filled with dreams you're aiming for, then you're not listening to your heart. If you have the opportunity to do something new that lights you up from the inside, but you don't pursue it wholeheartedly, then it will weigh heavily in the form of regret.
Your life is never fixed and stagnant - it's always flowing, and if you choose to live in alignment with your heart then you will love your journey. If you keep ignoring all the chances you are sent to fill your life with joy, then you're denying your heart the love it needs to keep replenishing itself.
Stop, look and listen. Is your heart telling you it needs more love? Until you love yourself completely, you will always be searching for ways to fill the void. Stop searching - your heart will tell you all you need to know.
Get in touch to connect to your heart as you relax peacefully, and feel absolute unconditional love for yourself. Nothing matters more.
