This collection of images isn't a vision board where you spend hours finding and pasting all the things you want to attract in your life... and then keep walking past it, until you forget about it.
This is an example of collecting your memories, so you can recall the exact feeling of loving a real experience.
When you choose a random picture of your dream car, you have no emotional attachment to it - and that is why it remains remote, and elusive.
Focusing on feeling happy is what you need to do - before you start on the process of attracting what you really want.
Spend time writing down every time you felt love - because love is the most intense emotion, and the reason behind everything you desire. You don't save up all year to go on holiday, because you "might quite like it" - you've chosen your destination because it fulfills all the things you love doing - including wriggling your toes in the soft, warm sand. Remember your favorite holiday, close your eyes, and take yourself back there.
When you refresh these memories, and make it a habit to bring one up to replace any time you feel down, you will feel happier far more often. Don't store your photos away in an album that you never open - keep your memories alive in your mind.
Even if your best friend has moved away - you've got memories of playing together as children.
Even if you're single at the moment - you've got memories of being loved by someone special.
Even if you haven't got a pet - you've got memories of loving animals as you grew up.
Even if you're busy and stressed - you've got memories of feeling spoiled with a pedicure.
Even if you've lost a parent - you've got memories of them loving you as a baby.
Even if you don't like where you live - you've got memories of the perfect view that will be yours, one day.
Some memories might be forgotten, but underneath any circumstances there are always good memories to be found.
Fill yourself up with memories of being loved, and loving others, and remind yourself how loveable you are - and allow that feeling to wrap around you, so you're protected against any moments of doubt.
When you treat yourself as someone special, and make time to be quiet, and focus on simply remembering all the good times - you will attract many more good times to create the memories you'll treasure forever.
And being able to make yourself feel happy feels really good!
“There is great value in being happy, because only from the point of being happy can you attract that which you want, but it is also your most natural state of being. If you are not allowing yourself to be happy, you are holding yourself away from who-you-really-are.” ~ Abraham-Hicks
“Tell everyone you know: “My happiness depends on me, so you’re off the hook.” And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they’re doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel - and then, you’ll love them all. Because the only reason you don’t love them, is because you’re using them as your excuse to not feel good.” ~ Abraham-Hicks

"I absolutely loved this book - it makes a perfect accompaniment to Christmas festivities. It starts with the origins of Santa Claus then goes on to describe in delightful detail different Christmas customs around the world. There are Christmas carols and poems, vintage Christmas recipes, and some excellent (and sometimes quite bizarre) examples of early Christmas cards. Finally Christmas during two World Wars gives poignant accounts of spirits lightened during war-time. A truly magical book. Highly recommended." - Amazon, UK
