You blink, and find you've eaten breakfast, and washed the dishes.
You blink, and find you've driven to your destination.
You blink, and find a TV program has ended, and it's time for bed.
Life becomes a series of habits sewn together through repetition. You don't have to suddenly do something wild like diving off a cliff to wake up - in fact, that's the opposite of what you really need.
Shocking the system is not the way to change your life - the only way is from the inside. The easiest thing to start doing is to stop regularly, and observe every detail of where you are, your surroundings, what you're doing.
Don't just think, "Oh, same old, same old" because you're in the same place that you were in yesterday. Every second is new - so find something new to observe. Look up to the sky, and watch the clouds changing shapes. They weren't like that yesterday, and they'll never look exactly like that again.
You can create what your mind thinks by becoming more aware. Instead of allowing your unconscious to race you through your day, take back control of what you experience.
When you build up your awareness through stopping, even if you have to set an alarm to remind you, you will gain a greater appreciation of the little things that you took for granted. Notice how good it feels to be a part of nature - feel grateful that the sky is designing beautiful pictures for you - for free.
Once you're able to stop, and switch your thought pattern to something of beauty that gives you pleasure - no matter how briefly - you are filling yourself up with things worth waking up for, and you will become more alive.
The ZPoint Process will slow down your life to a pace where you see what really matters, and discover how simple life can be. When you feel peace and calm inside, you will see the peace around you, and you will find the calm you seek.
Being able to control your inner world means you can create your outer world - and I know you would choose pleasure over blinking and missing yet another day.
“Truth is not something outside to be discovered, it is something inside to be realized.” ~ Osho
“Waking up is not a selfish pursuit of happiness, it is a revolutionary stance, from the inside out, for the benefit of all beings in existence.” ~ Noah Levine
