There is an old French saying which means: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
When it comes to resistance - nothing has changed. The only battle you will ever have is the one with your own mind - you can be your own worst enemy, or your own best friend.
You might think a battle at work, or a battle with a family member is the problem - but life will always throw disagreements in your path, and the only control you have is how you react. If you dwell on the issue, and keep turning over all the "he said, she said" arguments in your head, you keep it alive, and you're stoking up the fire of worry and upset, until it builds into anger.
Anger has never been a way to resolve any issue. If a Chinese General knew the best way to win a battle was through avoiding a fight, then you, too can find a peaceful solution.
I'm still having work done on my house, but I only survived the main kitchen renovation with my sanity intact, by using the ZPoint Process. I'd set my mind to cope with the mess and upheaval for the 3 week project . . . but after 9 weeks of bad workmanship, with every job needing to be re-done at least twice, and each mistake impacting on other work, plus the extra work created from the damage they caused, all exacerbated by lies, so I couldn't trust anyone, it felt like an endless nightmare.
I know that trust and belief are essential, so each night I would let go of all the stress, and focus on a good result. It's been the biggest, extended challenge I've tested ZPoint with, and definitely not one I ever want to repeat!
I only shared the details with one friend, so that I didn't keep talking about how bad things were, and she was amazed I was able to deal with each mess at all, never mind so calmly. I always try to avoid confrontations, and hate arguments, but if I hadn't stood my ground the kitchen would still be an unfinished disaster.
By letting go each night, and not allowing it to accumulate, I could (just about!) face the next day, and find the courage to state what needed to be done. I was able to be friendly to each workman (bar one!), and give them tips and cakes as appreciation, because I could see it was their boss's fault that they were expected to do the work of several different trades, which meant they were master of none. (Do you know anyone who is a professional electrician, joiner, and a plumber?!)
If I had got into a fight with each workman, everything would have fallen into chaos, and if I hadn't found the strength to insist the boss did what he'd been employed to do, I would still be living with a kettle and a microwave on my sitting room floor!
By dumping all my tears and frustrations into the ZPoint Process I didn't stay feeling down, and I was able to reduce my stress levels to cope more calmly. Being able to detach myself from each mistake meant I didn't lose sight of the bigger picture, and thankfully it all got finished.
The mind does have a natural resistance, and it was my challenge to overcome feelings of anger, because that blocks any alternative options. Because ZPoint communicates directly with your unconscious, it by-passes resistance, and frees you to find solutions peacefully. When you can control your mind, you can control your results.

I've shared my love of quotes with a number of Kindle eBooks, and Quotes for Writers is the biggest compilation. It has over 500 quotes in 8 different categories, with lots of useful information on editing, and advice to become a better writer. Of course, I've included lots of humor quotes!
You'll find quotes to get you over a blank page if you're a blogger, a scriptwriter, or if you write poems or books.
There are also inspirational stories of famous authors who suffered years of rejections before they became successful. I've added some new authors who've achieved their dreams through self-publishing with Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing program, to show anything is possible for everyone.
This book has 22 5 star reviews on US Amazon, and I'd really appreciate it if you could leave your review too.
