This week I'll share why it's important to take the time to acknowledge when you feel bad. We rush through life at a ridiculous speed in this automated age, and we're constantly fed information from numerous sources.
This means you brush aside how you feel, and don't pay your emotions any attention.
Change your priorities, and you'll change how good it's possible to feel.
Make time to be alone - with no internet, no music, no distractions - just you and your thoughts.
When a thought comes to mind that makes you feel uncomfortable or unhappy, don't dismiss it. We have a natural aversion to anything that doesn't feel good, but this isn't about dwelling in a pit of sadness - it's simply about acknowledging your true feelings.
When you listen to yourself, you place yourself at the top of the list, and appreciate feeling important. This is your time to put things into perspective. When you're going through a challenge, you can become so absorbed in it that you can't see a way out.
If you consider that you've been given the opportunity to learn, and grow, it can help you to accept things. If you weren't presented with an obstacle, you would continue exactly as you are, with no changes.
Would you be happy to live the rest of your life in the same situation that you find yourself now?
Or would you rather learn all the ways the Universe is able to help you?
We're meant to be open to new experiences, and learn new ways to improve our lives. It's unfortunate if you haven't noticed the hints and nudges, and now find your self facing an obstacle, but instead of feeling defeated it helps to know it's come for a reason.
If life was a straight line, with nothing to stir you from your routine, not only would you be extremely bored - you would miss out on so much.
If things were easy you'd never feel the sense of satisfaction when you find the way to overcome challenges. That is what makes you get out of bed, and puts a spring in your step - being capable of reaching resolutions - and enjoying feeling how powerful you really are.
Can you imagine living without feeling the joy of satisfaction? Or never feeling proud of all that you've accomplished?
Take yourself back to school, and remember how good it felt to master a subject which you didn't enjoy, and how good it felt to finish an exhausting race. It didn't matter that you would never be top of the class, or win that race - you didn't give up - and you crossed the finishing line.
Count up all the small incidents - none are too insignificant - they're all reminders of how good satisfaction feels. And you wouldn't be able to feel that happiness and excitement if you hadn't been presented with a challenge to overcome.
You only get to experience those emotions by facing each challenge, and working your way through it. Sometimes you need support, and I love helping you release the blocks behind a current challenge, so get in touch to discuss the peaceful way to let go with ZPoint, and move into the wonderful feelings of joy.
It is only through feeling satisfied with everything you have now that you will go on to attract what you really want. Even after your dreams have manifested you will still be presented with challenges, but you'll know how to accept them, because you know how much more worthwhile it is to face each one, than it is to leave them to make you unhappy.
"To be able to look back upon one's past life with satisfaction is to live twice." ~ Lord Acton
“A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.” ~ Mark Twain
“The key to ultimate happiness and fulfillment lies within our own transformation. The more we learn and grow and evolve as individuals, the more we will find happiness and satisfaction in relationships, work and life.” ~ Kristi Bowman
