You will soon notice how your body relaxes, and the more you observe the more tension you can release. Start with noticing how tight your shoulders are, and gently allow them to drop down to their natural position.
Because meditating connects you to your body, you can feel the changes so you know it's helping to make a difference.
It's how you bring yourself to the present moment, here and now - where you have no worries or stress about the past or the future.
You might wonder why I've added a photo of a girl with a book... this is a form of meditating, because you escape from reality, and enter another world which only exists on the page you are reading.
You can also drift off to another place when you're doing what you love, some call it 'entering the zone'. An author who gains inspiration for his successful novels from the incredible views of the ocean where he lives, suggested I create a quotes book on his (and my) favorite subject.
Because I loved all the quotes and poems I found which brought the sea to life, and then I really loved finding beautiful photos, and editing them - time flew past. I developed it to include conservation charities which work tirelessly to save our oceans, and I finished a 60 page Kindle book in 2 days!
“Ocean separates lands, not souls.”

Scientists always need proof before they'll believe anything, and J. David Creswell led a study which has been published in Biological Psychiatry. He found a way to set up a placebo group, who weren't following the description of mindfulness meditation: ‘‘an open and receptive, nonjudgmental awareness of your present-moment experience’’.
The mindfulness group was shown how to pay close attention to all the sensations in their bodies, including those that were uncomfortable.
The relaxation group was encouraged to ignore their bodies and keep talking, while their leader made jokes.
Both groups felt their stress had been relieved, but only differences were seen in the follow-up brain scans of those who had followed mindfulness meditation. The benefits of reduced stress, and increased focus and calm lasted for 4 months.
These brain scans proved that mindful meditation, which includes noting how the body feels, directly targets the areas that replace stress with calm and clarity.
This is the long-lasting effect you receive after a ZPoint session. You can feel aches and tension leave your body as you gradually relax deeper, without any effort. If you want the easy way to benefit from science - get in touch!

"If a person’s basic state of mind is serene and calm, then it is possible for this inner peace to overwhelm a painful physical experience." ~ The Dalai Lama
"Writing is an escape from a world that crowds me. I like being alone in a room. It’s almost a form of meditation- an investigation of my own life." ~ Neil Simon
