At first, your heart might seem as distant as a wispy cloud, but when you connect to its guidance you become whole. Instead of having nagging doubts whether you've made the right decision, find a space to be quiet and tune in to how you feel.
Very little needs to be decided in a rush, and when you make it a habit to take your time you will learn to trust your heart. We do too much rushing about, and fill the day with constant noise from the internet, phones and TV.
Consider you deserve time off to listen to your thoughts, and take note of those which make you feel stressed and pressured. When you breathe slowly and relax you can choose to change those thoughts until your heart tells you what feels good.
Take one decision at a time, and get used to feeling, hearing or sensing the answer. You might be nudged to look in a certain direction. Ask your heart: "Is this right for me?", and notice if you feel lighter, with an inner smile.
Be patient with yourself, this is worth practising because the closer you are to your heart your path through life becomes much simpler to navigate as you grow in confidence.
When you take responsibility for your own decisions you remove blame and regret, and know that if you need to adjust your course you can connect to your heart anywhere to make the right choice.
Don't tiptoe through life not sure of where you're going - take hold of it, and dive wholeheartedly into your dream future.
