I expect to see beauty, and I find it in the simplest of ways. I love watching the clouds drifting slowly across the sky, and often see fluffy hearts which make me smile. Others might look at the same view, and not stretch their imagination to find hearts, and feel topped up with love, if they expected to see a blue, cloudless sky.
You can either live with the pleasures of many small blessings, or with constant disappointment. Whatever you expect to see is what will be delivered - because that is where you place your attention.
I grew up learning to protect my sensitivity with a cynical shell - I expected things to not go my way because that had been my repeated experience. It was a horrible way to live! When you expect things to go wrong, you guarantee that is what will happen.
It's impossible to change your results when you have a negative mindset.
