95% of your thoughts are unconscious, and it's only by catching the negative ones that you can prevent them from taking root.
Turning negative thoughts over and over in your mind is the cause of stress, because they bring up feelings of doubt and fear, and that causes you to freeze, and makes you incapable of finding a clear, logical step forward.
Releasing and letting go will do you more good than searching for new solutions. Trying to cover over that 95% will be as effective as using a paper tissue to protect you from the rain.
Once you've mastered the skill of letting go, you're able to choose positive thoughts that improve your mood. This is how you create a life that matches your dreams.
If you allow your unconscious thoughts to continue to rule your actions, then you'll never get where you want to go.
You can only challenge old, limiting beliefs if you're tuned in through relaxation, and being still.
If you keep rushing through life, and pushing the unconscious thoughts aside instead of addressing them, they'll continue to argue against every new choice you want to make. And that's exhausting!
Because I find a fun way to deal with life, no matter what it throws up - here's a quote from one of my favorite comedians:
"We use 10% of our brains. Imagine how much we could accomplish if we used the other 60%." ~ Ellen Degeneres
Once you learn how to let the heavy, negative thoughts pass on by, you can focus on finding fun to fill the space - and that's a choice I'll always make. I can help you feel lighter by releasing your stress through relaxation - get in touch - fun over stress is a choice you can make too!
"No matter where you go or what you do, you live your entire life within the confines of your head." ~ Terry Josephson
"No amount of energy will take the place of thought. A strenuous life with its eyes shut is a kind of wild insanity." ~ Henry Van Dyke
"The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking." ~ Albert Einstein
