The more often you stop to appreciate all you are, and all you have - now, the more you will build trust and faith that you can create the life you want. Your confidence in yourself grows and strengthens as you observe every new thing that comes into your life that brings you pleasure.
Following on from starting to prepare to receive abundance, you have to take this stage seriously because only by being very clear about what you want, and why you want it, will you create a future that will bring you happiness.
There's a wise old Chinese proverb: "Be careful what you wish for, you may get it."
That's why you have to know the difference between a vague wish, and a planned desire to make your dream come true.
When you take your dream through the ZPoint Process, you will know you're creating a match because you feel how your future makes you feel - now. I used to think I didn't want to be rich with a huge house, because I couldn't cope with the burden of organizing all the maintenance tasks.
That limiting belief stopped me thinking I could ever be happy and wealthy. Now I've pictured the home I want, and I know I will have all the help and support I need to maintain it . . . not only because I can afford to pay for it, but because I'm now comfortable around asking for help.
These boring essentials need to be addressed, because they are part of how you will live your dream. Getting the huge mansion could be the start of your problems - not the end of them - who's going to clean the windows, hoover the floor, dust all the furniture, clean the swimming pool, keep up the repairs . . .
Because you haven't experienced wealth before, you'll have a rosy view of it, and only have the glossy surface images in your mind, as portrayed in the movies. All the housekeeping and maintenance issues are hidden away. Nobody who is wealthy lives alone - they have a lot of staff.
If you're a private person, you have to consider how you will feel about sharing your home with others . . . and if you haven't employed anyone before, you have to consider what it will feel like giving instructions to others.
This is what preparing yourself in advance is all about - getting real, and facing up to each of the practicalities necessary to maintain the lifestyle you've dreamed of. If you haven't received the mansion of your dreams it could be because your subconscious knows you would hate to have to organize an army of staff.
By working through this, step by step, you will be able to see clearly what you don't want, so you can make an accurate plan of what you know you really do want.
You might want to adjust the size of your next home, so you can manage it with help that visits once or twice a week, and become comfortable with that. When you've lived in that home a couple of years then you might want to upgrade - or you might find this was the house of your dreams, after all.
It's simply about taking your dreams from a cloudy fantasy, and turning them into the reality that truly makes you happy.
Wish to Reality List
Make your wish list with everything you think you want on the left.
Then next to each wish, add every "Yes, but" that comes up. Don't try to find answers, just write every objection or block down. Be honest, and express all your feelings and instincts.
Leave the list for a week, and come back to it with fresh eyes.
Go through each wish, and think about the reasons that would make it difficult for you to enjoy it. Some might no longer feel like a block, while some might have increased in size for you to decide that particular wish isn't worth following up.
This is not giving up! Making a decision clears your mind to focus on what is possible for you to aim for, right now - which means you will take action. Once you've progressed, you might come back to that same wish, and feel ready to face the blocks . . . or you might find your new direction suits you better.
For every wish you still want to pursue - take each objection, one at a time, through the ZPoint Process, and see if you can overcome them, or find a solution, or realize they're not really important, or know for certain they would prevent you from being happy.
Planning your ideal future takes time, and you have to take it in stages to release each limiting belief that comes up as your vision becomes clearer. Only when you know you feel completely comfortable with your future life, with no reservations, will you attract it to you.
